Time Isn't Always on Your Side

Along with size and quantity factors, you also need to consider your time frame for producing and mailing your newsletter when deciding on bulk mail. On average, bulk mail takes 10 days to reach its destination, much longer than first-class mail that is guaranteed by the postal service to reach its destination in a specific time period. The reason for the delay in bulk mail delivery is that these pieces often are sent together with other bulk mailings.

If time is an issue for you, you may want to send your mail first class, or plan ahead to have the production of your document completed early enough to ensure its timely arrival via bulk mail.

By taking a few extra minutes to determine your goals for you newsletter, and maybe re-styling it just a bit, you can save big bucks in the long run.
